      <title>Match Report - Saturday 13th September</title>

      <description>Ashland Rovers recorded their second win of the season as they claim an early lead at the top of the premier division beating Greymare 1-0 Ian Allsop scoring the only goal of the game. Nathan Francis netted twice for Beacon as they took the points at newly promoted Arnold Longbow John Greaves adding a third with Mark Coleman scoring for the home team. Santos claimed second spot in the division despite being held to a goalless draw at home by Headstocks. Netherfield Albion recorded a fine 5-1 win over Trident unfortunately the goal scorers were not provided. Dale Marsden netted four of the five goals Vernon Villa put past F.C. Samba peter Keep adding the fifth in the 5-1 victory.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In the first division Ashland Rovers Reserves are early season table toppers as they followed up last weeks 12-0 win with a 7-4 win over Premium Steve Hutchinson (2), Simon Bramley (2), Dan Ryan, Barry Lee and Ian Roe all scoring Danny Watson did manage to hit a hat trick in vein for Premium. Calverton Miners Welfare B made it two out two as they saw off East Valley United 3-1 Stevens, Beattie and Daley all scoring with Like Denning pulling one back. Greygoose started their campaign with an emphatic 8-6 win at Ruddington Village who have now conceded 19 goals in two games Rick Handbury (3), Graham Ross(2) and Michael Bradley the pick of the scorers, Jordan Hills and Adam Evans both scoring hat tricks for Ruddington. Nuthall made a solid start to the season winning 2-0 at home against neighbours Kimberley Miners Welfare Old Boys Liam Patten and Ross King with the goals. A.F.C. Bridgford came away with the points in a tight encounter with Boots Athletic A eventully running out 5-4 winners Ross Palmer scoring twice for the losers&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In the second division Clifton United kicked the season off with a comfortable 6-0 home win against Burton Joyce Dale Everett hitting a hat trick along with strikes from Martin, Fryer and Murrain. Kashmir showed no ill effects from last weeks defeat as they smashed nine past the luckless Basford United A defence Lance Stimpson being the pick of the scorers netting no less than five times. Marcus Bone scored twice for Basford as they made a winning to start to the season after last season’s promotion seeing off Arnold Town A 4-1 Hastings and Bofo adding the others Rankin pulling one back. Nott’m Sikh Lions started the season off well with a close win at Nott’s Metropolis running out 3-2 winners thanks to goals from Gahia and Wright along with an own goal, Frost and Blackamore replying. Three Crowns and Ali Islam shared the points as they played out an entertaining 3-3 draw Frazer McHugh scoring twice for Three Crowns as did Tom Bradshaw for Ali Islam.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Last seasons whipping boys Durham Ox Wellow look to be enjoying things a little better this season now that they have dropped down to the third division a point at home against Clifton United Reserves was enough to take top spot Scott Dowland scoring with Damian Humphries earning a share of the spoils for Clifton. New boys Real United had a comfortable start to the season seeing off fellow new comers Netherfield Boys 4-0 Sean Rhodes netting twice. Sean Wellbourne, Jack Shepherd and Aaron Beckford all netted twice for Pegasus as they secured all the points at Gedling Town with a 6-1 win. Two goals each for Justin Pinock and Zico Benjamin were enough to help Premium A secure all the points at Bingham Town who had Rob Bradshaw netting twice. Harvey Hadden went down for the second week running missing out by the odd goal in three at home to Nottinghamshire fourths finally Sherwood Casuals and Nott’s Metropolis Res Reserves had to be content with a share of the spoils as the y played out a 3-3 draw Kelly Waldron scoring twice for Metropolis Reserves.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <description>In a weekend badly affected by the weather the Nott’s Amateur Alliance Football league season kicked of with only seven games surviving out of the scheduled twenty four. Ashland Rovers kicked off with a fine 3-1 win at newly promoted Gedling Southbank A Ian Allsop scoring all three of the goals, Stecke scoring for the home side. Last Seasons cup winners Santos kicked off with a 3-1 win at Netherfield Albion Ben Adams scoring all the visitors goals Wajahat Ali pulling one back for the home team. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In the first division newly promoted Ashland Rovers Reserves got their season under way with an emphatic 11-0 home win over Ruddington Village Steven Harrison 3 Kye Pilmore 3 Daniel Ryan 2 Barry Lee 2 and Ian Roe all getting on the score sheet. Calverton M.W.B. started with a win as they proved too strong for last season’s premier division strugglers Boots Athletic A running out 5-0 winners Kirk Stevenson 3 Jamie Davey and Johnny Roe all netting.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In the second division Coppers Arms won the only game to be played seeing off Kashmir 3-0 at Hempshill Vale Liam Evans, Daniel Morgan and Mark Armatage all scoring.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Durham Ox Wellow started the season with a win seeing off Pegasus away from home 3-1 James Vernon, Michael Ingram and Liam Black all getting on the score sheet whilst Adam Willis pulled one back for Pegasus. Terry Bell smashed al four goals for new boys Netherfield boys as they ran out 4-2 winners at home to another new team Harvey Hadden Oliver White and Joe Jackson hitting their goals.&lt;br/&gt;</description>
